Seeing Art Monk and Darrell Green getting enducted into the Hall of Fame was something that I could not pass up. I went with my friend, Scott Parker. 
Day trips, like New York, Philadelphia, 4 games in the NCAA tournament in Charlotte, NC, South Bend for the Notre Dame game, and coming right home, are our speciality. This may be one of our last outings alone, since our families are now growing. We left at 7 am and got home at 4 am the following day! Fun times.

Fun times.It was a great experience to see all the Redskin fans in Canton, Ohio. 16,000 out of the 17,000 people in attendance were Redskins fans. You could definitely feel a buzz around the Hall of Fame. It was really crowded, but it was great to see all the history. At the ceremony, Art Monk's and Darrell Green's sons did a wonderful job talking about their fathers. 
Not only were these men great players, but they are great examples of what a person should be. The standing ovation that Art Monk received went on for four minutes and was the longest that anyone had ever gotten. It was funny when they introduced Michael Irvin, a former Cowboy, how all the Redskins fans booed him. It was an electrifying night that will never be repeated for Redskins fans.
